Hey again I have another question. Two of my pigeons have snap bands on as well as AU/NPA bands and I was wondering how you take them off. I just wondered if there was a tool or something so I don't hurt the leg when I take them off. Thanks

not sure what kind of snap on band you have, but if you have ones like i use (b-bands) you simply grab both sides of the band at the snap location and slide one side down and up on the other, it should then seperate.
Those snap on bands can be tricky to get on and off by yourself, because of how not-so-flexible they can be. If you're not careful, they may slip out of your fingers and pinch the leg, which doesn't look very comfortable
I think it's easier to have someone hold the bird while you put them on. Otherwise, I don't know of anything you can use to make it easier, except be patient
OH. The chip rings are very hard to work with. I had a time trying to get one off of a bird that was given to us last year. I ended up getting my dad to get it off. Hurts my fingernails
